Play as the Kingdom of Taranto
Taranto sits in the Apulia AI-Kingdom, under the Italy Coalition-AI — a G7 Mediterranean state, industrial north, ancient south. The kingdom name is fixed; the ruler name is yours. The Kingdom of Taranto shares what it holds
City kingdoms carry 50% more money and resources than an ordinary province, and they trade what they hold with their own ruler and allies.
Apulia is the crown above you
The Apulia AI-Kingdom doesn't compete with its cities — it presides over them, fielding 61,007 troops on a militaristic posture and pushing $883,315 a day through its economy. Above it sits the Italy Coalition-AI, seated in Rome.

Questions about the Kingdom of Taranto
What do I get for claiming Taranto?
A sovereign city kingdom with 50% more treasury and shareable resources than an ordinary province, a real-world map position, and the coalition's armies within diplomatic reach.
Is playing from Taranto free?
Completely. No download, no paywall, and it works on phone or desktop.
Is Taranto part of an AI coalition?
Yes. Taranto sits inside the Apulia AI-Kingdom, which answers to the Italy Coalition-AI. The coalition presides, the kingdom governs, and you rule the city.
What does the hyphen in the name mean?
Everything before the hyphen is yours — your chosen ruler or dynasty name. Everything after it is the AI-Kingdom title you claimed, so "Kingdom of Taranto" stays fixed while your name leads it.
Can someone attack the Kingdom of Taranto?
Yes — other real players and AI nations can declare war. Build infrastructure and happiness before you build an army, or upkeep eats you before an enemy does.
