Play as the Kingdom of Rome
Rome sits in the Lazio AI-Kingdom, under the Italy Coalition-AI — a G7 Mediterranean state, industrial north, ancient south. The kingdom name is fixed; the ruler name is yours. Claim it and your nation reads "Your Name - Kingdom of Rome", with your capital dropped on the real coordinates of Rome.
The Kingdom of Rome shares what it holds
City kingdoms carry 50% more money and resources than an ordinary province, and they trade what they hold with their own ruler and allies.
Lazio is the crown above you
The Lazio AI-Kingdom doesn't compete with its cities — it presides over them, fielding 13,862 troops on a defensive posture and pushing $3,147,673 a day through its economy. Above it sits the Italy Coalition-AI, seated in Rome.
Questions about the Kingdom of Rome
How do I play as the Kingdom of Rome?
Create a free account, pick your ruler name, and claim the title. Your nation shows up as "YourName - Kingdom of Rome" and your capital drops on the real coordinates of Rome.
What does the hyphen in the name mean?
Everything before the hyphen is yours — your chosen ruler or dynasty name. Everything after it is the AI-Kingdom title you claimed, so "Kingdom of Rome" stays fixed while your name leads it.
Is Rome part of an AI coalition?
Yes. Rome sits inside the Lazio AI-Kingdom, which answers to the Italy Coalition-AI. The coalition presides, the kingdom governs, and you rule the city.
What do I get for claiming Rome?
A sovereign city kingdom with 50% more treasury and shareable resources than an ordinary province, a real-world map position, and the coalition's armies within diplomatic reach.
Is playing from Rome free?
Completely. No download, no paywall, and it works on phone or desktop.
