Play as the Kingdom of Leiden
Leiden sits in the South Holland AI-Kingdom, under the Netherlands Coalition-AI — a North Sea trading state, Rotterdam megaport. The kingdom name is fixed; the ruler name is yours. Claim it and your nation reads "Your Name - Kingdom of Leiden", with your capital dropped on the real coordinates of Leiden.
The Kingdom of Leiden shares what it holds
City kingdoms carry 50% more money and resources than an ordinary province, and they trade what they hold with their own ruler and allies.
South Holland is the crown above you
The South Holland AI-Kingdom doesn't compete with its cities — it presides over them, fielding 32,415 troops on a balanced posture and pushing $7,576,179 a day through its economy. Above it sits the Netherlands Coalition-AI, seated in Amsterdam.

Questions about the Kingdom of Leiden
What do I get for claiming Leiden?
A sovereign city kingdom with 50% more treasury and shareable resources than an ordinary province, a real-world map position, and the coalition's armies within diplomatic reach.
Is playing from Leiden free?
Completely. No download, no paywall, and it works on phone or desktop.
Is Leiden part of an AI coalition?
Yes. Leiden sits inside the South Holland AI-Kingdom, which answers to the Netherlands Coalition-AI. The coalition presides, the kingdom governs, and you rule the city.
What does the hyphen in the name mean?
Everything before the hyphen is yours — your chosen ruler or dynasty name. Everything after it is the AI-Kingdom title you claimed, so "Kingdom of Leiden" stays fixed while your name leads it.
Can someone attack the Kingdom of Leiden?
Yes — other real players and AI nations can declare war. Build infrastructure and happiness before you build an army, or upkeep eats you before an enemy does.
