Play as the Kingdom of Hastings
Hastings sits in the Hawke's Bay Region AI-Kingdom, under the New Zealand Coalition-AI — a South Pacific parliamentary democracy, dairy exporter. The kingdom name is fixed; the ruler name is yours. Claim it and your nation reads "Your Name - Kingdom of Hastings", with your capital dropped on the real coordinates of Hastings.
The Kingdom of Hastings shares what it holds
City kingdoms carry 50% more money and resources than an ordinary province, and they trade what they hold with their own ruler and allies.
Hawke's Bay Region is the crown above you
The Hawke's Bay Region AI-Kingdom doesn't compete with its cities — it presides over them, fielding 22,670 troops on a balanced posture and pushing $5,358,461 a day through its economy. Above it sits the New Zealand Coalition-AI, seated in Wellington.

What do I get for claiming Hastings?
A sovereign city kingdom with 50% more treasury and shareable resources than an ordinary province, a real-world map position, and the coalition's armies within diplomatic reach.
Is Hastings part of an AI coalition?
Yes. Hastings sits inside the Hawke's Bay Region AI-Kingdom, which answers to the New Zealand Coalition-AI. The coalition presides, the kingdom governs, and you rule the city.
Is playing from Hastings free?
Completely. No download, no paywall, and it works on phone or desktop.
What does the hyphen in the name mean?
Everything before the hyphen is yours — your chosen ruler or dynasty name. Everything after it is the AI-Kingdom title you claimed, so "Kingdom of Hastings" stays fixed while your name leads it.
Can someone attack the Kingdom of Hastings?
Yes — other real players and AI nations can declare war. Build infrastructure and happiness before you build an army, or upkeep eats you before an enemy does.
