Pombal sits in the Leiria AI-Kingdom, under the Portugal Coalition-AI — a Atlantic-facing EU state, Iberian west coast. The kingdom name is fixed; the ruler name is yours. Claim it and your nation reads "Your Name - Kingdom of Pombal", with your capital dropped on the real coordinates of Pombal.
The Kingdom of Pombal shares what it holds
City kingdoms carry 50% more money and resources than an ordinary province, and they trade what they hold with their own ruler and allies.
Leiria is the crown above you
The Leiria AI-Kingdom doesn't compete with its cities — it presides over them, fielding 32,678 troops on a balanced posture and pushing $7,223,536 a day through its economy. Above it sits the Portugal Coalition-AI, seated in Lisbon.
Questions about the Kingdom of Pombal
Is playing from Pombal free?
Completely. No download, no paywall, and it works on phone or desktop.
What do I get for claiming Pombal?
A sovereign city kingdom with 50% more treasury and shareable resources than an ordinary province, a real-world map position, and the coalition's armies within diplomatic reach.
Can someone attack the Kingdom of Pombal?
Yes — other real players and AI nations can declare war. Build infrastructure and happiness before you build an army, or upkeep eats you before an enemy does.
Is Pombal part of an AI coalition?
Yes. Pombal sits inside the Leiria AI-Kingdom, which answers to the Portugal Coalition-AI. The coalition presides, the kingdom governs, and you rule the city.
What does the hyphen in the name mean?
Everything before the hyphen is yours — your chosen ruler or dynasty name. Everything after it is the AI-Kingdom title you claimed, so "Kingdom of Pombal" stays fixed while your name leads it.
