Play as the Kingdom of Johannesburg
Johannesburg sits in the Gauteng AI-Kingdom, under the South Africa Coalition-AI — a Africa's industrial south, BRICS member. The kingdom name is fixed; the ruler name is yours. Claim it and your nation reads "Your Name - Kingdom of Johannesburg", with your capital dropped on the real coordinates of Johannesburg.
The Kingdom of Johannesburg shares what it holds
City kingdoms carry 50% more money and resources than an ordinary province, and they trade what they hold with their own ruler and allies.
Gauteng is the crown above you
The Gauteng AI-Kingdom doesn't compete with its cities — it presides over them, fielding 10,469 troops on a defensive posture and pushing $2,169,108 a day through its economy. Above it sits the South Africa Coalition-AI, seated in Pretoria.

Questions about the Kingdom of Johannesburg
How do I play as the Kingdom of Johannesburg?
Create a free account, pick your ruler name, and claim the title. Your nation shows up as "YourName - Kingdom of Johannesburg" and your capital drops on the real coordinates of Johannesburg.
What does the hyphen in the name mean?
Everything before the hyphen is yours — your chosen ruler or dynasty name. Everything after it is the AI-Kingdom title you claimed, so "Kingdom of Johannesburg" stays fixed while your name leads it.
Is Johannesburg part of an AI coalition?
Yes. Johannesburg sits inside the Gauteng AI-Kingdom, which answers to the South Africa Coalition-AI. The coalition presides, the kingdom governs, and you rule the city.
What do I get for claiming Johannesburg?
A sovereign city kingdom with 50% more treasury and shareable resources than an ordinary province, a real-world map position, and the coalition's armies within diplomatic reach.
Can someone attack the Kingdom of Johannesburg?
Yes — other real players and AI nations can declare war. Build infrastructure and happiness before you build an army, or upkeep eats you before an enemy does.
