Play as the Kingdom of Athlone
Athlone sits in the Western Cape AI-Kingdom, under the South Africa Coalition-AI — a Africa's industrial south, BRICS member. The kingdom name is fixed; the ruler name is yours. Claim it and your nation reads "Your Name - Kingdom of Athlone", with your capital dropped on the real coordinates of Athlone.
The Kingdom of Athlone shares what it holds
City kingdoms carry 50% more money and resources than an ordinary province, and they trade what they hold with their own ruler and allies.
Western Cape is the crown above you
The Western Cape AI-Kingdom doesn't compete with its cities — it presides over them, fielding 61,085 troops on a militaristic posture and pushing $901,204 a day through its economy. Above it sits the South Africa Coalition-AI, seated in Pretoria.

Questions about the Kingdom of Athlone
Is playing from Athlone free?
Completely. No download, no paywall, and it works on phone or desktop.
What do I get for claiming Athlone?
A sovereign city kingdom with 50% more treasury and shareable resources than an ordinary province, a real-world map position, and the coalition's armies within diplomatic reach.
Is Athlone part of an AI coalition?
Yes. Athlone sits inside the Western Cape AI-Kingdom, which answers to the South Africa Coalition-AI. The coalition presides, the kingdom governs, and you rule the city.
Can someone attack the Kingdom of Athlone?
Yes — other real players and AI nations can declare war. Build infrastructure and happiness before you build an army, or upkeep eats you before an enemy does.
What does the hyphen in the name mean?
Everything before the hyphen is yours — your chosen ruler or dynasty name. Everything after it is the AI-Kingdom title you claimed, so "Kingdom of Athlone" stays fixed while your name leads it.
