Questions about the Kingdom of Welgelegen
Can someone attack the Kingdom of Welgelegen?
Yes — other real players and AI nations can declare war. Build infrastructure and happiness before you build an army, or upkeep eats you before an enemy does.
Is playing from Welgelegen free?
Completely. No download, no paywall, and it works on phone or desktop.
What do I get for claiming Welgelegen?
A sovereign city kingdom with 50% more treasury and shareable resources than an ordinary province, a real-world map position, and the coalition's armies within diplomatic reach.
Is Welgelegen part of an AI coalition?
Yes. Welgelegen sits inside the Paramaribo District AI-Kingdom, which answers to the Suriname Coalition-AI. The coalition presides, the kingdom governs, and you rule the city.

Everything before the hyphen is yours — your chosen ruler or dynasty name. Everything after it is the AI-Kingdom title you claimed, so "Kingdom of Welgelegen" stays fixed while your name leads it.
