Play as the Kingdom of Basel
Basel sits in the Basel-City AI-Kingdom, under the Switzerland Coalition-AI — a landlocked Alpine confederation, neutral finance hub. The kingdom name is fixed; the ruler name is yours. Claim it and your nation reads "Your Name - Kingdom of Basel", with your capital dropped on the real coordinates of Basel.
The Kingdom of Basel shares what it holds
City kingdoms carry 50% more money and resources than an ordinary province, and they trade what they hold with their own ruler and allies.
Basel-City is the crown above you
The Basel-City AI-Kingdom doesn't compete with its cities — it presides over them, fielding 25,140 troops on a balanced posture and pushing $5,508,123 a day through its economy. Above it sits the Switzerland Coalition-AI, seated in Bern.

Questions about the Kingdom of Basel
Is playing from Basel free?
Completely. No download, no paywall, and it works on phone or desktop.
Can someone attack the Kingdom of Basel?
Yes — other real players and AI nations can declare war. Build infrastructure and happiness before you build an army, or upkeep eats you before an enemy does.
What do I get for claiming Basel?
A sovereign city kingdom with 50% more treasury and shareable resources than an ordinary province, a real-world map position, and the coalition's armies within diplomatic reach.
Is Basel part of an AI coalition?
Yes. Basel sits inside the Basel-City AI-Kingdom, which answers to the Switzerland Coalition-AI. The coalition presides, the kingdom governs, and you rule the city.
What does the hyphen in the name mean?
Everything before the hyphen is yours — your chosen ruler or dynasty name. Everything after it is the AI-Kingdom title you claimed, so "Kingdom of Basel" stays fixed while your name leads it.
