Play as the Kingdom of Samarkand
Samarkand sits in the Samarqand Region AI-Kingdom, under the Uzbekistan Coalition-AI — a double-landlocked Central Asian republic, cotton and gold. The kingdom name is fixed; the ruler name is yours. Claim it and your nation reads "Your Name - Kingdom of Samarkand", with your capital dropped on the real coordinates of Samarkand.
The Kingdom of Samarkand shares what it holds
City kingdoms carry 50% more money and resources than an ordinary province, and they trade what they hold with their own ruler and allies.
Samarqand Region is the crown above you
The Samarqand Region AI-Kingdom doesn't compete with its cities — it presides over them, fielding 55,861 troops on a militaristic posture and pushing $12,499,705 a day through its economy. Above it sits the Uzbekistan Coalition-AI, seated in Tashkent.

What does the hyphen in the name mean?
