A political simulation where every ideology is a strategy
SFC Nations is a free political and nation-building simulator. You pick your government, your stance, your economic philosophy, and live with the results. There's no 'right' party — there's only what works for the nation you're trying to build.

Pick a direction. Live with it.
Whether you play as a small-government Republican-style nation focused on low taxes and a strong military, a Democrat-style nation investing in social spending and diplomacy, or an Independent threading the middle — the game treats each as a valid strategy with real tradeoffs. There is no scripted 'good guy.' There is only your nation and the consequences of how you run it.
Real policy levers, not slogans
Tax rate directly drives revenue and citizen happiness. Government type changes growth rates, military bonuses, and stability. War stance affects how AI alliances treat you. Religion choice modifies population mood. Tech progression unlocks resources and weapons. Every lever is a number you can move, and the numbers feed back into each other.
Diplomacy and the bigger world
A global reputation score from -100 to +100 tracks how the world sees you. Twelve AI alliances are constantly recruiting, defending each other, and going to war. You can join one, build your own, or play as a lone power. Espionage, sanctions, ransom, and full-scale war are all on the table — none of them are gambling, all of them have political cost.
Frequently asked questions
Is this a partisan game?
No. Real-world parties aren't represented. You build a government from generic systems (Democracy, Republic, Monarchy, etc.) and pick your own policies.
Can I play as any ideology?
Yes. Conservative, progressive, isolationist, expansionist, theocratic, anarchist — all are supported playstyles with different mechanics.
Is there a campaign or is it sandbox?
It's persistent sandbox. Your nation never resets. Wars, events, and AI campaigns happen around you continuously.
