Politics and War nails the alliance metagame. SFC Nations builds on that foundation with a deeper internal economy, a real-world map, 20 government types, 32 resources, and a mobile-first UI — and we'll never put a 'premium' tag on competitive gameplay.

What Politics and War players will recognize
Alliance politics. Mutual defense pacts. Trade agreements with real economic value. War windows that reward coordination. Reputation that follows you across nations.
If you're already running a P&W alliance, the muscle memory transfers in under an hour.
Where SFC Nations goes deeper
Internal economy. Tax rate, gross income, military maintenance, infrastructure improvements, resource synergies, and 20 distinct government types — all of them measurably different.
The map. A real-world map instead of continental zones, with markers students and casual players actually recognize.
The rules. Zero gambling references inside war or competitive sections, by design. Anarchy state for nations that lose badly. A real five-day recovery wait that makes losing feel like losing.
Where we keep it lighter (on purpose)
We're not trying to be a hardcore alliance grinder. SFC Nations works for a solo player who logs in once a day, a homeschool family running a class-wide simulation, or a college professor using it as a comparative-government lab. The alliance metagame is rich, but it isn't required to enjoy the game.
